We are pleased to note that your registration fee includes a copy of the symposium proceedings that will be published as a volume of Acta Horticulturae.

Optional items:

The closing banquet on Saturday evening is not included in the registration fee and has been priced separately.  If you plan to attend the banquet we will request in a separate email that you chose from the menu attached; however if you have specific dietary restrictions those will be accommodated.

Tours are also optional and are  priced separately.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations received by October 7, 2016 will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee. Please note that such refunds will only be processed after the symposium. Cancellations received after October 7, 2016 are non-refundable; however, substitute attendees from the same organization are welcome. Cancellations must be sent in writing to Dr. Norman Goodyear either by post or email.

The Organizing Committee may cancel the symposium because of insufficient registrants or other unforeseen circumstances. If the symposium is cancelled, the Organizing Committee will refund the full registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.

Letter of Invitation

If you require a visa to enter Uruguay and need a letter of invitation to the symposium, please contact us at, and include ‘Letter of Invitation Request’ in your subject line. (The letter of invitation will be faxed to you or sent to you via email. We will not send original letters to embassies or provide assistance in securing a visa.)
